What Is a Network Host?

Host or node in computer networks - is any device that is connected to other devices of the network, and being part of it. Such devices can be any - individual computers, mobile phones and other physical devices (switches, routers, TVs and so forth). Also them could be a virtual devices that function as nodes within one or more physical devices.

For example, some hosting services and a variety of cloud services can be built on the principle of virtual hosts.

The most important thing is that each node (host) on the network will have its own IP-address.

In other words, we refer to the network host as anything that could be identified by its own IP-address and is a part of the network. it is anything that is connected to other network hosts and can establish a connection and engage them in information transmitting process.
